Whistleblower and Non-Retaliation Policy

Convergence Events, Inc. and CONvergence are committed to lawful and ethical behavior in all activities and require members of the Board of Directors, members of Convention Committees, volunteers, badged attendees, Invited Participants, Guests of Honor, dealers, vendors, professional service providers, and affiliated organizations to conduct themselves in a manner compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

No board member or member of any Convention Committee will be discharged, threatened, or retaliated against in any manner for reporting in good faith what they perceive to be wrongdoing, violations of law, or unethical conduct.

At any time, if a member of the Board of Directors or a member of the Convention Committees has a concern regarding the propriety or legality of any action that is being contemplated or that has been taken by a Convergence Events, Inc. board member, a Convention Committee member, volunteer, vendor, professional service provider, or affiliated organization or believes that an action needs to be taken for Convergence Events, Inc. to be in compliance with applicable legal or appropriate ethical standards, the complainant should promptly advise the appropriate Divisional Director. If the Director is unresponsive as defined under the E-mail Escalation procedure of Convergence Events, Inc. or if the Director is the subject of the concern, the complainant should contact a different division director or the full Board of Directors to report their concerns. It is the responsibility and obligation of any Director contacted to bring the reported concern to the attention of the full Board of Directors. Every effort will be made to investigate a report as discreetly as possible. However, because of the obligation to investigate reports, correct a problem, or mitigate future problems, Convergence Events, Inc. cannot promise complete confidentiality.
