Director of Amenities

“Rum!  And juice!  And rum and juice and rum and juice and rum!  And juice!”

If like so many others at CONvergence you’ve heard this chant in the party hallways, you have Dave Bianchi to blame thank.  Dave attended his first CONvergence in 2005 and immediately fell in love with the community.

After running the Assassin’s Guild room party for several years, Dave joined the Convention Committee in 2016 as a specialist in the Parties department.  Since then, he has served in the Hotel Relations department, and as admin to the Director of Activities in 2024.  He was elected to the board of directors in 2025, and now serves in a joint role as Director of Amenities and as Chief Technical Officer.

When not at CONvergence, Dave works in the IT industry and enjoys D&D, board games, video games including Void Train, the Civilization series, Titanfall II, and Stardew Valley.
