Convergence wants to serve and improve our relationships in our communities. Like our premier “wide screen convention,” we see our horizons as broad, connecting across conventions, geek culture, fandom, the sciences, performing arts, community organizing, games and friendly competition, and more. Our goal is to create a presence that puts our best feet forward: we want to show Convergence in action.
Convergence is in action when we’re bringing people together to have fun. We have fun in a lot of different ways, so for these outreach efforts, we want to give Convergence Events a lot of flexibility.
Our outreach will be aimed at improving our relationships across the community, at giving staff and members access to developmental opportunities, extend our networks for contacting potential guests, improving our own processes, and building our community.
